News / Native’s new team

It has been a busy summer at Native, with new faces joining the team and old faces off to explore new horizons.

We are very excited to welcome Tom to the team as our new Part 2 Architectural Assistant. Tom recently completed his Masters in Architecture degree at Sheffield University, during which time he developed an interest in sustainable design and building with low carbon materials. He has been involved in community based design, and gained a commendation for his research into the design of bicycle-friendly cities.

We also said goodbye to Andrew Jarman in July, who has chosen to move back to Liverpool to take up a position in a larger firm. Andrew was with us for three years, during which time he completed his professional qualifications and officially joined the Architects Register. He was a hard working and valued member of the team, so we wish him all the best in his new job!

In amongst all the staff changes, we also can’t forget to mention Mischa, who joined us for 2 weeks from Denmark following a successful internship with UKHempcrete last year. Mischa hopes to bring the news of natural building back to her home country, so joined us at Native for a short time to see how we do it in Yorkshire – best of luck for the future Mischa!
